“The commonality of MasComm projects is the power of collaboration. Getting a genuine cross-section of stakeholders at the table, listening to their ideas, respecting their perspectives — that is the cornerstone of community engagement. Ordinary people, working in concert, can achieve so much when they are invited to contribute ideas and energy toward a greater good. When this collaboration includes a media partner, outreach provides an opportunity to break through the myriad choices presented to viewers and connect with new audiences — enlivening, enriching, and personalizing the experience of tuning in.”
